You added rel=”nofollow” to the links. Basically, I think my authors deserve to have a “normal” link to their website. Otherwise, if I did not want an association with them, why would I want them as authors in the first place? Can you remove that or at least make it configurable?
Other than that, we are fine. It would be great if you never updated the code without bumping the version though, it messes things up.

The links to the author are dofollow. Just the social links are nofollow.
Mabe there is a script that adds nofollow to external links but Startbox doesn’t.
Please send me your url so I can verify too.

Yes, but those are the social links to the social pages of my authors. Why should they be “nofollow”?

social links with nofollow is crucial if we want our pages getting more credit from the search engines.And I believe social links are for the readers who are interested at clicking them rather than the search engines.
I agree TheQuintus but is best to have an option for that if possible.
I’ve added an option for nofollow in the user profile but the option is on by default.
Please reinstall the plugin and you should see it in User > My Profile

how can I change the default back to with an nofollow?some authors got 9 social links,i can’t bear they don’t turn the nofollow on.the search engine might take the post as advertisement for social links.it would be awesome if the choice for setting nofollow is only controlled by the site admin.
sorry,I’ve just noticed that the default for new authors is on,for former authors is off.
