Activating new theme on existing theme

    So I was working on a theme and filled the menu bar and some basic content like home page. Now, I got another theme I was asked to test. I activated it and made all my menus and content out of whack.

    Is there something I can do so all content resets to the new theme?

    Each theme may have its own theme settings and options. Have a look at them and work on them.

    BTW, what theme are you using?

    Grand college from themeforest. But then I had to test a generic home brewed version so when i activated that, all went haywire.

    You need to rework on that theme settings and make it work. If it does not work at all, you need to contact Theme Forest because we do not support themes from commercial sources.

    After you set at the Dashboard all the customizations and widgets and whatever else for each new theme, WordPress remembers them for each next time the theme is activated.
