max magazine slidershow

I’m trying to add a photo slideshow on my homepage. I’m using the free max magazine theme. I done it before using showtime and portfolio plugins, but the slidershow I see it when I’m creating it on my wordpress page, but when I go to visit my website to check what I’ve created it shows only circle rotating which means I think that the photos are uploading, but they never do; however, if I click on the menu for the homepage the slidershow appears. Why is that. I was also wondering whether it will be easier to use the jQuery slider already on the theme page. please help..my website is: http://www.riograndeinfo.com
