Linkable images/flash file in slider

Hi, I’m a first time user of WordPress and the Customizr theme, which I find great to use. However, I have a bit of a problem which I’d like some assistance with. I currently have a slider on the home page of the website I’m building, but I’d like to either (1) make the JPEG images that I have in the slider link back to an external URL (without the use of the call to action button; I’m not using it currently) or (2) change out the standard slider for a different one (like a plugin) that will allow me to do what I referred to in (1). Also, can a flash file (swf) with embedded links be displayed in the standard (or plugin) slider, if so, how do you do it? Thanks for any help offered.
