Images loading slowly

At the end of some of my articles, I have 5-10 150 x 150 photos, which are supposed to greatly enlarge when you click each one.

However, it takes 2 minutes to “turn the page” when an enlarged
photo is enlarged. It’s like a book where it takes 2 minutes to turn each page.
