WP-Postviews alternative, using the same details

Hello, can you help me with some other plugin to can count my views? I use a theme who come with wp-postviews plugin to count the post views, but when the plugin is activated my server load is very very high. I use a dedicated hosting, but the site is very slow and this is very big problem. The plugin work together with W3 total cache, but this is not fixed the problem. With wp-postviews plugin my server load are 20 to 23 sometimes, without this 0.30 – 0.80 maximum.. sometimes 1… My question is how to change this plugin with another one but if it possible to can save the views from the wp-postviews (i have about 2500 posts, some from them have more than 100 000 views and the theme have sort by views option). Can i replace this plugin with another one who will not load too many my server? Thank you!
