I am attempting to create a database that will take users to a website of our sponsors. BUT I do not want them to leave our site, but rather go to a new blank page. http://elflouise.org/wp/toy-drop/?pdb=953

Is there a way to modify the default template to make this happen?

Also, my [pdb_single] page shows 2 blue lines on the top prior to printing the list of data. Please advise how to remove them. I’ve removed some of the default group etc, but can’t seem to figure that on out. http://elflouise.org/wp/toy-drop/?pdb=953

I love love love this database though! Using it on most every site I have.

To add the target=”_blank” you need to either work with a custom plugin template or use Javascript to add the attribute to your links.

If you don’t want to do the coding and don’t mind having all your outbound links opening new tabs or windows there are plugins that will do that for you.

Those blue lines you’re seeing are because there are “code” tags in your content. It isn’t the plugin doing this.

Try using your developer tools in your browser to inspect the HTML and you’ll see what I mean.
