Page loses content during creation

This issue has now happened twice, and is extremely frustrating.
Here’s the step by step of what happens:
typing text, then adding some pictures, periodically saving the drafts and then adding more text and pictures.
Walk away from computer for 30 mins, when I come back, half of the content on that page is gone. Part of the text is gone, part of the pictures are gone.
Some of the text and pictures are still there. Looking back at the drafts saved, and it’s like some of the text and pictures never existed.
Not sure if it is happening during the “auto” save, an internet glitch or what.
Makes me seriously doubt the stability of WordPress.
