Permalinks stopped working when changed post Slug

I set my permalinks to numeric and they worked just fine for my pages.

Then I got greedy and wanted to get rid of the dashes in my post slugs, so they would read “contactme” instead of “contact-me.”

It worked fine for a few links then I came back to my page and noticed that NONE of my links were working anymore, even the ones I hadn’t changed the dashes. I just click and it stays at my home page.

I can set it back to default and it works fine, but I’d be happy now just getting the links to work with or without the dashes.

Is that weird or what?
