Sidebars "move" on blog posts page
-
Website/page in question: http://www.wildwarbots.org/blog/
I used the page template settings and it looked okay at first. But when a new blog post is added, the sidebar (doesn’t matter if it is set for left or right) gets pushed down and it appears under the blog posts. Not sure what may be causing this.

I may have solved it (or it solved itself) by changing the default layout to having a right sidebar vs. full-width and not just overriding it on the page itself. But we’ll see if it holds true.
Regardless, I’m loving this theme and enjoying the way I can tweek it to make it my own. Would love to hear any feedback from the crowd as we are just beginning to build it out.
I had similar problem and tried what you suggested without success. Finally tracked it down to a plugin (booking calendar) it was making global css changes that did what you describe plus it wrecked my home page. this was only evident on ipad with iOS7 in portrait mode or I wouldn’t have known. I disabled all my plugins, added them one by one till i’d identified the culprit. Might be worth you trying that strategy?!
Please change at least one of your pages (besides homepage, which looks fine) to have sidebar so I might have a look at it and find the cause.
hi.. same here. i tried to write here but no response.
Now, if you see this : http://tanyajawabforex.com/artikel-forex/. it looks normal. I set it the fullwidth.
But if you click older post navigation under it. It seems the left sidebar appeared. You can see it here : http://tanyajawabforex.com/artikel-forex/page/2/
Even its not bothering me anymore because it’s an archive but it can be everyone problem.
If you want your archives to display without sidebars you need to change the global default layout to “No sidebars: full width layout” in Pages & Posts Layout, under Appearance > Customize (backend). Now it’s set to left sidebar.
