• Hi, I’d like to know if there is a shortcode I can add to [business_directory] to display the listings “by category” instead of a full list containing ALL categories.

I have a website with listings of events and vendors by categories, and I want to be able to filter by category on the various pages. So when you click Vendors, a list will show with only those people labeled “Vendors” will show. Or only those labeled “Barn Sales” will show.

My website where it is being used is here if youd like to see a visual of what Im trying to explain

There is an option available in the Settings menu where you can set the default view of the business directory: All Listings or Categories.

    We hope this information helps!

I realize that, and yes it’s better option than the whole list, but I’d rather it be a shortcode to JUST pull up ONE category upon clicking a page…

    Can this be achieved?

At the present time this is not possible.

It is certainly something we may try to look into in the future but right now it is not something we are looking at.
