    Hi
I will have a wordpress install with woocommerce, wp-supercache, wpml, gravityforms, better wp optimize and SSL. Apache load is high. I am on a vps with 2GB memory, wanted to reduce apache footprint, can anybody suggest the Apache modules that I can safely turnoff.

  • Try switching to Nginx. Switching to Nginx takes less time than figuring out the Apache modules that could be safely removed! If you really wish to stay with Apache and if you are using Apache 2.2, you may try Apache 2.4 that offers better performance.

    thnx for the reply.

I am using nginx for the frontend, tried using Apache 2.4 but it gave me Internal Server Error with Better wp Security. Anyway thnx.
