"Featured" and "Latest" overlapping

    Hi!
    Right now my most recent posts will appear both in my latest section and in my featured box. How do I get posts to appear in the latest category, only when they are no longer featured?

    For instance, right now my page looks like this:

    Featured
    Post 1 (the most recent post)
    Post 2
    Post 3
    Post 4
    Latest
    Post 1
    Post 2
    Post 3
    Post 4

    Ideally, it should look like this:

    Featured
    Post 1
    Post 2
    Post 3
    …
    Latest
    Post 5
    Post 6
    Post 7
    …

    Hi, please open index.php file
    Search for this code
    <?php $j=0; $i =0; if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

    and replace it with

    <?php  $j=0; $i =0; if ( get_query_var('paged') ) { $paged = get_query_var('paged'); } elseif ( get_query_var('page') ) { $paged = get_query_var('page'); } else { $paged = 1; }
				$latestsection = implode(",", $mts_options['mts_featured_slider_cat']);
				query_posts('cat=-'.$latestsection.'&paged='.$paged);
				if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

    hey,
    is there a way to show only “sticky” post as featured ?

    maybe in a similar way you mentioned ?

    Hi Oliver,
    Yes that can be possible, but it needs customization, and unfortunately we can’t provide customization for Point theme.

    I think that solved the issue, as new posts no longer seem to overlap.

    my post on latest section and recent post widget are not showing good, even randomly,
    how i can fix it??

    Hi

    I have troubles setting up popular/recent posts widget in the sidebar.

    Everything seems to be set up correctly in the backend, but in front end it looks totally wrong and displays all posts.

    Hey,

    I tried above code but i am getting bellow error on page.

    “Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/[username]/public_html/lab/wp-content/themes/point/index.php on line 8”

    can u tell me what is the issue.
