Problem with updating theme

    I am having a problem with update virtue

    I seem to be getting this:
    An error occurred while updating Virtue: Download failed. Failed to write request to temporary file.

    I am using the latest wordpress and have deactivated all plugins and still the same reply

    any help would be appreciated

    If you are using version 1.5.4 then go here

    http://wordpress.org/themes/download/virtue.1.5.5.zip

    download the theme to your computer and then upload it from your computer and that should do it, at least it did it for me..

    I think there was something going on with the wordpress.org, theme downloads across the board were really low today. Let me know if you still can’t update.

    I did what you said….it struggled then came back with…

    Network Error (tcp_error)

    A communication error occurred: “Can’t send more”
    The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

    I don’t thaink it’s anything to do with Virtue – I have a feeling that my .tmp files are full. I may have to contact my host and get them to clear it

    Thanks for a great theme!

    I am having problems when updating to the 1.5.5
    the theme disappears…..hoping it will work it self out, have tried installing it manually like mentioned above, but no luck yet…

    Any other ideas?

    Not sure, that sounds really strange I would try contacting your hosting provider?
