Yes, you can change any string in the plugin by using the translation file, which is described here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-translate-bd-for-non-english-language/

You don’t need to change ALL strings in that file, just the one(s) you want. Be sure to back this file up once you are done, as upgrading the plugin will overwrite your changes.
