Auto Enable versus Manual per post

Greetings! Is there a way to “auto enable” a function? I am using a feed to post system that automatically creates post from outside rss feeds and assigned a specific category. After a day I want that category name to automatically change to another category. However, since the post are being created automatically we are looking for a solution where we will not have to go into each post and enable it.Thanks!
