    Hi,

I have just started using your plugin and I have a couple of questions about it:

    1) In general settings I get this “Please Note: Your SQL dump file will always be backed up regardless of what is selected below.”
I have checked the backup on wordpress, there it the wp-content directory, the wp-config.php and .htaccess files … but no sign of any SQL file (aka the DB backup). Is there something I’m missing?

    2) The wp-content directory is not zipped (or any other form of compression), it is normal?

    3) I set the backup for everyday at midnight, but in the plugin backup logs it seems the backup goes on at very different hours. Why?

    4) Do the new backup files overwrite the old ones?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

    Antonio

I realise this post has been marked as resolved and also that Michael (the plugin author) no longer answers questions here, BUT I just thought I would mention that I was having a similar issue to what Anthyx reported, in that “quite suddenly” the SQL backup file was no longer being updated in the wp-content/backups folder.

After turning debugging on, I found that the plugin was trying to truncate or delete information from a particular table in my WP database (a table created by the plugin, so nothing of concern there) and it was then that I remembered that I had turned off some of the permissions set against my WP database (following recommendations I had read somewhere).

Re-enabling these permissions (as well as then completely removing and re-installing the plugin) then worked for me. This piece of information might be helpful to others coming here for support.
