Facebook like box problem

    Dear all, I’m trying to customize the theme including a facebook like box and writing the code inside the index.php the box appers on all pages….
    In my site I need full page theme and I have not sidebars so, there is anyone that can help me? There is anyone that knows why writing in index.php I see the box everywhere?
    Where I can write the code of facebook like box to see only on the home page?

    The easiest way is to place that box in the footer area, and then you can set visibility options for it, e.g to choose showing that box only on front page.

    Hi tomaja, thank you for your hint but the result is Always the same even because there is no possibility to choose to shoiw the box only on the home page.

    Sorry, you have to install Jetpack plugin for this option.Then you just need to expand that Facebook or any other widget or custom text in the footer area where you put it, press “Visibility” button and set it to be “shown” when “page” is “front page”
    Instead Jetpack you could use another plugin

    Hi tomaja, I’ve tried but there is no possibility to find the correct home page because the “pagina inziale” (the home page) does not corresponde to the one called by system….
    I’ m going to be mad….

    I’ ve also tried to set is_home() or is_front_page() but nothing happens….
