Multiple mini-blogs within my blog?

    Hi,

    Ii am creating a review blog site for music. I want this site initially on the home page, to include reviews. I want seperate pages however (not categories) for previews, podcasts and rumours.

    Each of these pages ideally would be like a mini blog. This wqould allow me to post multiple stories to the rumours page and allow people to comment.

    In the dashboard when I go to write it adds the post to the opening page only. I know that it is possible to select which category to put a post in, but Ii would like the option of which PAGE to put the post in.

    Any suggestions?

    In WordPress, Pages is a specific term and probably not at all what you’re speaking of. Pages are for more static content and do not contain a series of posts.

    Truly, after reading and re-reading your post here it seems like you are indeed looking for categories.

    When you write a post it goes, by default, to your front page and to the appropriate category listings.

    If you don’t want posts of certain categories to show up on the front page, you can exclude them with a bit of theme work (see the appropriate section on The_Loop or do a quick search here in the forums as it comes up almost daily) or something like the custom query string plugin.
