RSS feed always get full entry.

    Hi, I am using WP 2.0 on maxmsp.recorderz.org.
    What I encounter is I wanted to feed only the part before <!–more–> tag. But I tried the following settings, none of them works.

    yes, I did try:
    1. in wp-admin, option->read->syndication, I checked summary
    2. in wp-rss2.php, I set the $more = 0; (the original value ws 1)

    The plugins I used are:
    Akismet
    Custom Query String
    Get Recent Comments
    Next/Pre post in same category
    Feedburner
    StatTraq
    Table of Contents Generator
    Search Excerpt
