Need help with Set Up

Hi there

I am fairly new so I apologize for the questions…

I am trying to set up a site for a political campaign and wanted to utilize what the demo of this theme looked like – the large picture area, a footer area, etc and have having a heck of a time.

I don’t see where I can a large pic (it’s only allowing me a thinner banner type image) and it’s not showing me anywhere I can edit the footer. I was hoping to add twitter, facebook type feeds into the site.

I am also trying to get the multi language working but while I have the pages up it’s not allowing me to to put a toggle switch.
