Seems like a useful plugin to me. But I prefer plugins that still have active support and development.

So is this plugin still being actively developed?

I’d recommend using SearchWP – http://searchwp.com/ – it’s what I’ll be working on for a migration path with this plugin. Jonathan is doing many things better in his project and I have chosen to focus my time on my other more popular projects.
