And while we’re brainstorming, it would cool to have the ability to set hours for unique instances, such as holidays. I know that’s probably a much bigger task with a bunch of other potential variables, but something to consider.
Hey you, the updated Version is online. It provides the Time-Format feature. You can choose between three different time-formats or even configure your individual one. The same goes for Date-Format.
It also has a new Holiday feature. Individual/dynamic Opening Hours are to come with 1.2.

I am now using it on my websites and client websites.
The holiday feature is a great idea zink, and it would be very usedul as well.
Is it possible to add hours to it though, janizde? For example, use the same format as the weekdays, but rather label them as the Holiday in question with the option to add the date (option to add a range when appropriate).
Possible layout…
Christmas 10:00am – 5pm
Hanukah (11/27 – 12/5) 10:00am – 5pm

I’ve planned (and already prepared a bit) a feature called sth like ‘Special Openings’, which does exactly what you requested. So you wouldn’t set up a holiday but rather a special opening called ‘Christmas’. And these wants actually compile a date and two time fields.
I’m currently working on it but I will not release a big update before wordpress 3.8 is launched, because 1.2 will be adopted to 3.8.
I’m also planning to start a beta-programme in which you can sign up for beta-releases.
