Making theme widget friendly

Hi
I’m quite new to wordpress, but this that I’m starting to pick up a few bits and pieces. I’ve finally found a theme that I like, and I’ve just started playing around with it. But, just my luck, it doesn’t seem to be sidebar widget friendly (at least as far as I can tell).Here the theme I’m talking about:

What edits do I need to make to get this thing to run the sidebar widgets??? Appreciate any help I get at this point.
