Beginner needs help with Navbar & Slider
-
I’m trying to make a blog for my wife. I have therefore installed Customizr theme cause I found it easy to use (for someone like me, who puzzle every 3 years). I think that it’s great, as most things are easy to start – but there are some things that I can not find out. I have solved mostly by “surfing” and copy / paste some code in the “Custom CSS”.
1. I would like to make “navbar” (ie it with menu items) smaller (from left) – so that they remain on the right as it is today – so I can get more space for logo
2. I would also like to replace the images in the slider on “the featured page” – (home default)
Hope that there are some kind souls who can be helpful;-)

1. Adjust the % to what you need:
.navbar-inner{float:right;width:80%;}2. Did you see the video?
Hi rdellconsulting,
Thanks – this works (.navbar-inner{float:right;width:80%;}) ;-).
Yes, i have the videos. I can “control” the slider when i create a new page or “turn it on” on the pages a have done. But i can figure out, how to do it on the “Home page” – (the standard “Home page” there “comes” with the theme. I whant to change the images that are in the slider on that page.
Do you have a Page called Home (or something)? If not, create one and use the Customiz’it! Front Page settings to make that a Static Page.
Now Edit that page via Dashboard>Pages
At the bottom of the Edit screen there is a Slider Yes/No switch – make it Yes which will reveal the bit you need to add Images to a slider.
If you already have this, then you can move or edit the slides.
It’s all in the video!
Hi rdellconsulting,
Thanks for the help ;-).
