• How do I go about editing html in wordpress? I’m new to it but do I need an add on editor or something? Thanks.

  • My site is currently down so I cant go into the WP admin to figure out where you go exactly, but it’s something like this;

    check off the box at the very end of the Options page.

    Depending on your degree of editing, you may or may not run into problems.

    There are other settings too, can’t check though, damn web server!

    Thanks for the reply but I’ve got no idea what box you’re talking about. I don’t seem to have the same options area as the one you’re talking about. Hopefully your site gets back up and you can help me out with that.

    By the way I’m talking about editing the html for templates, not for blogs. Any suggestions anyone?

    you’ll want to either FTP in and work with the files that way (with your favorite HTML editor (but NOT FrontPage or any other WYSIWYG editor), or go to presentation > themes > theme editor

    Thanks for that. I’m actually trying to edit the html that I see when I use the firefox web developer add on. The add on doesn’t seem to let me save it the way it is. Thanks.
