Highlighted subpages

When you go to a page the corresponding menu item is highlighted. Which is nice.

The same thing happens when you go to a subpage via the dropdown menu. But when you don’t hover the menu item it is hidden. So most of the time, you don’t see the hidden and highlighted menu item and you don’t see on what page you actually are. Which is not so nice.

What might be a good solution for this?
