Every 4 Hours Schedule

I’m testing your plugin. It seems to work just fine, but I noticed that schedule never worked as it suppose to, every 4 hours. I haven’t tried different hours schedule yet. Is there anything from my side as log or something that u might need to help you spot the problem?

Manual Backups works just fine. I have another plugin Backwpup and its schedule works fine.

Hi Imad,

Is there a log file? Click on the ‘Download most recently modified log file’ link at the top of the settings page.

You can also install the free plugin ‘WP Crontrol’ and then go to Tools -> WP Crontrol to see when the backup job is scheduled for.

I couldn’t find the WP Control Plugin, I just took a manual backup and here the log file. https://www.dropbox.com/s/52njljw3ml7y8f8/log.e12a3d999f1a.txt

Should I schedule it at 4 hours again wait till see what happened?

Hi,

The log file shows a successful backup at:
Wed, 09 Oct 2013 19:01:26

Is that one done via ‘Backup Now’, or was it in fact the scheduled one working?

It’s not “Control”; it’s “Crontrol”.

It’s working! But can you tell from the log file if it was manually taken backup or through a schedule? The first log I sent you was manually taken backup through “Backup Now”. I just received another email that the backup is successful and this was through the schedule! Recent log https://www.dropbox.com/s/2az32xhyo8r7jzj/recent-log.txt

I will keep monitoring I believe, and I’ll let you know how it goes.

Hi,

Yes, that second log file is from the scheduled run, so all seems well.

For the Wp-Crontrol screenshot, you’ve sent a screenshot of Settings -> Crontrol instead of Tools -> Crontrol. It’s the latter that shows your scheduled tasks.

It’s great tool, I was able to modify Backwpup time as well. Thank you!
