    Hi,

I have a number of tables where the table header row doesn’t line up with the columns underneath. I am wondering if there is some css code or something that will fix this. My alternative is to find a different way to change/ display the contents so it does line up. You can see an example of what i mean on my home page at the bottom. It is table 1.

    Regards
    Neil

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

The reason for this problem is the usage of the Horizontal Scrolling functionality. That does not work reliable on all tables, unfortunately, due to different types of content in the cells, and also the influence of the theme.
I therefore suggest that you turn off that feature. You might then however run into problems where the table is cut off or extends into the sidebar, as the minimum widths for the columns might then change. You will therefore probably also have to change the texts in the header row or remove columns.

Thank you for such a quick response. I will have a play with what you have suggested. I do remember though that i switched on the scrolling to resolve an issue I was having when the table was being displayed “responsively”. Oh well I might have to have a rethink!

    Hi,

well, yes, that “Horizontal Scrolling” can help with making the table responsive, but unfortunately, the combination of content in the header row and in the table body do not match up right now (in that the available screen size is extended).

    Regards,
    Tobias
