well ok i found a really weird problem…
my site is fully functional on the lan when i change:
    WordPress address (URI);Blog address (URI)
to: http://10.20.30.21 <– thts my lan ip

    BUT,

    when i keep it as

http://riv.myvnc.com (thts my no-ip.com ip redirection)
    it does not work 🙁
really odd cause all the pages etc. display on the http://riv.myvnc.com but only comment feature is not working…

am i supposed to edit the ip in one more place??

i jus get a blank page when any1 tries to post

wp-comments-post.php <— it jus comes up blank 🙁
as i said i turned off all plugins and themes back to default still problem is ther 🙁 🙁 but weirdly if i try to post via my lan ip then it works 😮 how does tht happen 😮

Tried to connect last night, and this morning. After several minutes I just killed it.

You haven’t given any information about your server/firewall/router (with commercial ISP’s there’s some room for assumption, but not on personal servers).

Based on the fact that it works inside your lan, but not outside, you have a server configuration issue, not a WordPress issue.
