Featured Image Size on Facebook Page

Hi – I am seeing that the featured images on my facebook page are not being resized correctly. The images are being cropped to a default size of 377 x 197 which is causing only a partial image to be shown. Why are the images not being scaled to preserve the entire image. Any pointers on how I can fix this? I tried the url debugger and it is showing the thumbnail images as featured images, but I am not seeing that on the facebook page.
