WordPress modification showcase?

I’m interested in seeing what people are doing with WordPress for non-blog sites, or sites where a blog is only a small part of the overall site, so that WP is used as more of a general CMS than a blogging application.

One site I’ve worked on recently uses a combination of WP pages, the Static Front Page plugin, and a couple customized page templates to create what appears to be a static site with blog and news subsections. This is a pretty basic modification and I think there’s a lot more than can be done.

Anyone know of particularly unusual WP-powered site? Or better yet, a showcase with a bunch of them?
