The logo I see is a 150px by 150px jpeg. You can always use a bigger image.

The size is set in PHP, so the first thing you need to do is set up a Child Theme: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Yes ! It’s ITC Avant Garde Gothic STD, in Bold Condensed.
I made it with Photoshop.
