I have installed NextGEN Gallery on my self-hosted WordPress site. When I attempt to create a gallery, and upload images, I get an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle, which says “http error”. I have searched the forums for this issue, and found a thread, posted a year ago, that suggested altering a line of code in the ngg-config.php file, but I have searched the plugins/nextgen-gallery folder on my server and do not see this file anywhere. Am I looking in the wrong place, or is this a different issue altogether?

Never mind – I solved it. I had to change the permissions on my wp-content directory in order for it to be able to create the “Gallery” directory.
