I’m very new to wordpress, and need some help putting a logo into my page. I want to keep the title and tagline that are there, or be taught how to put a title and tagline in myself, but I want to put my logo NEXT to the title, to the left hand side.

I have no idea how to edit the php or css files so could somebody please give me some step-by-step guidance on how to do so? I’ve tried reading other queries but just can’t seem to get the size right etc.

Login to wp-admin, go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Header > Logo and upload your logo.

I’ve tried this, and it puts the logo underneath the title, rather than to the left of it, can I change that? Thank you!

Sorry I didn’t notice that you’d posted the site in beginning of the thread.

Use the following CSS code in the custom CSS box or PC Custom CSS plugin.
```
#header {
height: 160px;
}
#logo h4, #blog-description {
    margin-left: 160px !important;
}
#logo img {
    position: absolute;
    top: 0;
}
```
Modify the numbers as you like.

Thank you so much! Just one more thing though.. I’ve done as you say, but it cuts the top of my logo off. can I put a small bit of blank space above this?

You’re welcome Carys!

Just increase the value of top:
```
#logo img {
    position: absolute;
    top: 10px;
}
```
