i wish to make wordpress to look / at least have the same collumns, and ability to have sorted news just like http://deathtrockstar.info…

can it be possible using wordpress?

1. The correct address is http://deathrockstar.info/, I guess (you have a typo)
2. It is done with WP (just check out the source code)
3. How it was done? – talk to them.

the columns are made with css div containers.
and to display the older posts listings use the get_posts template tags
(http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/get_posts)

they list all the plug-ins they used. They may help too.
