• Hi,

I have one hosting account and two domains (not add on domains, regular).

I already have one wp installed in root folder named x.com, I installed the second wp by the host automatically in x.com/y, changed the pointing of y.com to point to the subfolder x.com/y

Everything works fine, both wp with separate db are working fine.
I have read both topics but still I am not getting somthing: http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_Multiple_Blogs

My question would be for the second wp in the subfolder y, how to mask the domain or how to change that the entire wp installation will look like it is in y.com not in x.com/y ?

I din’t change any files, like: httacces, or wp config. When I changed the Site Address (URL) to: y.com and keep wp address to x.com/y it shows some errors.

How can I work this out? 🙂

I have add-on domains at BlueHost, and that it done by using cPanel to simply point the domain to the desired directory (folder)…and nothing more had to be done anywhere (other than to possibly deal with that folder’s unique htaccess for permalinks if that had not already been done).
