• Hi there, I recently discovered that when I viewed my site’s RSS feeds on a feed reader like feedly, the formatting becomes really weird, e.g. the pictures don’t show up and there’s no paragraphs/links. How can I fix this? My website is http://wanderco.co and the feed url is http://wanderco.co/feed

    thanks so much!

  • Sometimes images break because of relative links, but I don’t see any images in your feed at all. Do you have any kind of image hotlinking prevention? That would cause the images not to show in the feed.

    To my knowledge, I don’t have any hotlinking prevention. I didn’t do anything to my rss feed, and also not sure why the paragraph breaks don’t show up too. Could it be the theme I installed? It’s called good space, http://themeforest.net/item/good-space-responsive-minimal-wp-theme-/2278615

    Thanks!

    OK, when I look at your feed source, I don’t see a tag:

    content:encoded

    which means you’re not providing the full text to the feed. Go to:

    Settings->Reading

    and set

    For each article in a feed, show

    to Full Text (it’s probably set to Summary).

    Normally there’s an hour cache on the RSS feed, so you may not see it change immediately, though you could always add another post to test.
