adsense code not showing in posts

    Hi all
    I did raise this in another post but it must have been too old when I saw it.
    I am placing adsense code at the top of posts in order for it to show up early. so far nothing shows up except what is in the sidebar.
    I use EditorMonkey as a plug-in and paste the adsense code into the post when I am in html mode – still nothing.
    Am I missing something (besides the ads showing?)

    The best way to place adsense inside a post is to either hard-code it into your index.php file, OR to use a plugin – I like this one: http://www.acmetech.com/blog/adsense-deluxe/ – With the plugin, you get a little more flexibility.

    But no matter what, you can’t enter adsense code right into a post or page and have it work, you’ll have to do one or the other of the above…

    Aha! Thanks for that. I’ve just tried using Qumana and that appears to work too, but I will try the Adsense-Deluxe version.
    I must also get around to learning more about this coding stuff. Not my forte but surely it’s not that hard.

    Nope – not that hard. I knew NOTHING of PHP prior to using WP, and now, I’m still far from being expert, but I can manage fairly well with the support of the forums and other people I’ve made friends with here.
