Can you please explain to me how you are checking the database numbers so that I can trace the issue?
Hi
I am checking the numbers at the “Daily Popular Posts” plugin feature – the numbers showing are pretty different from those displaying when selecting Display Daily Posts (of 1 day);
Is there the need to reset the plugin’s databases everytime there’s an update? (just wondering if that could be the problem).

mariomb, there shouldn’t be any need to reset the database.
Are you using the widget for the same where you are setting the Custom time period as 1 day?
And are you comparing this against the Top 10 > Daily Popular Posts menu?
I notice the difference as well. I’ll run a few checks to see if I can rectify this. It’s most likely to do with the date period I am picking up
Yes precisely – the customization period defined at the Widget area (1 day) is the same as the one defined at the Top 10 Settings/General Options –
As I said, the numbers shown at the “Daily Popular Posts” plugin tab are different from those showing on site.

Just checked. I had recalculated the way to get the Daily Posts and currently it’s capturing an extra day, so instead of just posts for 1 day i.e. 10th September, it’s pulling 2 days, 9th and 10th September.
I’ll release a fix shortly.

mariomb, the new version should fix the double counting. Can you confirm?
