Hello, I just noticed the Dashboard widget is visible to anyone having access to dashboard, even subscribers.

That’s obviously not the correct behavior, maybe adding a capability check could help 😀

I have fixed this in v4.5.3, you can find an early release here if you’d like to test it. The Dashboard Widget will only be shown to users who posses some level of Email Users capability.

Hello Mike, i also found a tutorial for hiding dashboard widgets, i was hoping if you can mention what is the short code of the dashboard widget so that we can use the code here to hide it till there’s a final version available.

I have released an update (v4.5.4), it should appear on your Dashboard soon if it isn’t already there.
