Security Improvements

    Hi,
    I have had my homepage hacked 3 times in the last year. I am wandering if there is any additional security I can install.
    How do most hacks happen? Is it people logging in to my wordpress site, or just hacking into FTP?
    I have heard of ‘away mode’ on wordpress, will this help if I never need to login?
