Ouf… I’ll have to think about this one for a bit. Each social button has it’s own way of defining languages (for those that support language options).
Let me look into this over the next day or two, and I’ll get back to you.
Thanks for the suggestion. 😉

Points already for replying, and extra for so quickly! 🙂
At the moment I’m using “Share Buttons by AddToAny” which seems to handle the issue, if that’s any help. They don’t address the thumbnail problems though. I have far too many plug-ins so if one can handle it all that would be great, and yours is very solid. (said after trying a dozen different options!)
thanks!
Yup, NGFB Open Graph+ should be very solid *and* very fast. Not many plugin authors put so much effort into various caching strategies.
So, good news and (somewhat) bad news…
The good news first. 🙂 I’ve added a language filter to the social buttons that support language options (Facebook, Google+, and Twitter). Now the language option in the settings becomes a ‘Default Language’, which is overridden by the WordPress locale value (which qTranslate changes dynamically). So, now the button language changes with the page language. Hopefully the other social websites will offer their buttons in multiple languages in the future as well…
And the (somewhat) bad news… This feature will be included in the Pro version released this upcoming week-end. The Free (Standard) version will continue to support only one language (albeit a configurable one in the Social Sharing settings).

Hi, I am also interested in multi-languages.
I am willing to purchase your pro version, however, I wonder if the NGFB Pro will be compatible with WPML.
Please advise.
Thanks.
It should work fine, and we have a 30 day refund policy, if ever you’re not satisfied. 😉
The WordPress.org forums are for Free versions only, so if you have any more questions, open a ticket here http://support.ngfb.surniaulula.com/support/home and I’ll be happy to assist you.
