To see the theme option, uninstall the plugin and re-install it. You may have downloaded the plugin before the feature was added. This should get the latest version.

Just for interest sake, which plugin are you using? I’ll install that one 🙂 Mine was Facebook Comments Notification I think (just uninstalled as per your suggestion).

Ok sorry, I caught up! I just reinstalled but no change. Where are you seeing the colour option? I’m looking on settlings of the plugin…still no change post reinstallment.

I am having the same issue. Since my WordPress theme is dark, the comments are next to illegible. As suggested, I deleted the plugin, downloaded and installed it again. However, I couldn’t find a place in the settings page where I can interact with the color of the comments, or background color. Here is a URL that shows a a comment, difficult to read as it is:

I created a new release 1.5 … this should force the plugin to update with the new theme option. It sounds like your plugin is running the ‘1.4’ version and not with the the latest code in ‘trunk’.
The new theme option will show up in the admin area under
Settings > Facebook Comments
For example, like in the following screenshot:

Hi guys,
I’m using iTheme2 and I’ve searched everywhere on the theme settings to change the comment section colour but no luck. As mentioned by a previous user query, the plugin doesn’t allow me to change it from dark to light although apparently it should.
Currently my comments are illegible due to the colour clash. (Black text on dark grey block on black background!)
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you 🙂
