Error 524

The new NextGen seems to be causing 524 errors on my server. I’ve tried upgrading to the new version twice, and this error started cropping up both times.

It doesn’t happen right away, or predictably, so it’s hard to pinpoint the cause for sure. It seems to be the new NextGen though, from the timing of the events.

It says it’s most likely either an overloaded background task, database or application over stressing the resources on the machine and that the cause is often in the database.

Has anyone had this issue? Solutions?

Also, even when not getting the 524 error, NextGen galleries are loading V-E-R-Y slowly.
