    Not in particular no but then your ecommerce side of things will not adhere to the style of your theme and will look much different and not to mention you may encounter layout issues.

    But if you must use a theme that is not made for WC, then I would suggest you start with 2012 theme as it is probably the most compatible with that in terms of layouts.
