Connection Keeps Getting Reset from Dashboard
-
I have been having a problem for the past week and was wondering if anyone had suggestions. My web site http://stacyjuba.com/blog/ works fine when I go to access it, however my dashboard is giving me major problems. Whenever I try to update a post, add a new post or make a change, I get bumped off the dashboard and receive the following message:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.It happens when I hit Preview or Publish, and sometimes when I am trying to open a new page or post. I was hacked recently with malware script, however I hired Sucuri to clean that up and it tests clean now.
My feeling is there is a problem with my server but Go Daddy said there wasn’t. They suggested optimizing my database to clean it up, so I am looking into that, (I need to see if I can get the passwords from the designer who last worked on my site) but I don’t understand why it would be working fine then suddenly be virtually unusable. They suggested a few plug ins to speed things up, but none of them are compatible with 3.6
I would say this happened almost immediately after updating to 3.6. Would returning to an older version of WordPress help, and is that even possible? Any other ideas?
