email notification plugin problem

Hi @ all!

I use the email notification plugin v 2.3.1 from Brian Groce an WordPress 2.0.3.

Now I’ve installed and followed the instructions. Though, i’ve a problem. In the Write-Area my upload options isn’t there any longer. Moreover, I don’t have the drop dpwn option there.
The rest works – people can subscribe, can confirm their subscription, i can send a mail to them via admin panel. But the part with the notification for a new post doesn’t work.

I’ve no idea, what could be wrong. I’m thankful for every help.
