Plugin version 1.5 is still prefers the featured image of the post but also includes other attached images. Check the Facebook URL debugger for error messages related to your featured image to see if it may be excluded due to size or other restraints.
If you view the source code in a singular post view you will see og:image markup presented to Facebook’s parsers as preferred images for the webpage.

Provided og:image is not big enough. Please use an image that’s at least 200×200 px.
that is what i found. however, i have always used 195px x 146px and it has worked fine until this update. odd….

it does work like it used to when i make the image over 200 x 200. never had to do that before.
