Problems with 403 Forbidden then Not Found

    Hi Guys

    I had updated a couple of plugins ( Really simple captcha, contact Form 7 and Mail Chimp). However after that I had the error 403
    Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access /xxxx on this server.

    I read a couple of replies in the WP Forum and They were all saying to delete .htacess which I did. Then I had access to the backend and the index page are working fine but now the links on the menu are broken. Showing me the following error:
    Not Found

    The requested URL /xxxxx/ was not found on this server.

    How do I fix it?
